The Homestead Road Trail is located on the East side of the roadway, beginning at Aboite Center Road and traveling north before ending at Covington Road within section 15 of Aboite Township. This trail segment would provide connection between the existing trails already constructed on Homestead and Aboite Center to the Covington Road Trail (currently under design). The ultimate goal of this project is to construct a 10’ wide trailway connecting these existing trails, while minimizing any impacts to adjacent properties and the environment. Extensive utilities coordination and communication were key elements to a successful design. The total project is approximately 5300 feet (1.0 mile) in length.
