A&Z was responsible for the feasibility study, design and inspection services for the removal of the existing vehicular tunnel to the Coliseum parking lot and replacing it with an at grade intersection and traffic signal. This $2.2 million project also included storm sewers, concrete curb islands, added travel lanes, and a new roadway connecting it and (Paul Shaffer Dr). to California Avenue. A&Z also utilized Context Sensitive Solution design implementation by facilitating the coordination between INDOT, Allen County, Memorial Coliseum, Indiana University/Purdue University-Fort Wayne, City of Fort Wayne and contractor for both the design and construction phases of the project.
