A&Z Engineering teamed with Martin Riley Inc. for the rehabilitation of the Waterloo Historic Depot Project. Our role was to assist Martin Riley of the INDOT submittal process and the implementation of design standards to the federal funding guidelines. A&Z had previously completed the “Engineering Feasibility” phase for the Depot and the Amtrak passenger station.
A&Z was also selected by the Town to conduct the construction inspection services for the renovation of the historic depot. This historic landmark will be renovated to attract rail passengers to this area. The proposed improvements include the renovation and restoration of the train depot. Modernization will also be completed including compliance with ADA, HVAC and electrical system upgrades.
